Foodie Fetishes

  • Recommended Food Safari: Right now, I think my budget might only allow a search of Austin for the best onion rings. (flour, thin coat preferred)
  • And to Drink: Water, of course. Then, whatever suits the occasion, alcoholic or not.
  • Your Fantasy Tablemates: I most prefer my wife and daughter, and then anyone else who can make it. The more the merrier.
  • Favorite Cuisine: Well prepared fresh ingredients combined with skill and love always turns out well. I appreciate and admire what every culture has done to satisfy their appetite.
  • Last Meal Request: Something that takes forever to prepare. Probably seafood of all sorts, several courses, starting with raw oysters. I'd want all my loved ones around, too. And, if I knew it was going to be my last meal I'd request very hard to find items that may take months to find.
  • Favorite Eating Town: Paris, Itally gave me great meals; carpaccio in Rome, Lucca, Daniel in NYC, dim sum in San Francisco... I'm getting hungry. I'd better stop.
