I often get sweet invitations to myriad mouth-watering events, and this one really piques my interest.

Imagine a fruit that somehow transforms everything bitter, sweet. Diabetics and others wishing to avoid sugar could use it as a sweetener, parents could put it on kale to trick their tender-tongued children, and even I could tolerate brussel sprouts without frying them in scads of butter.
